F.E.A.R.'ın açılımı First Encounter Assault and Recon. F.E.A.R.
olağan dışı olayları araştırmak ve olası aksiliklerde yok etmek için
kurulmuş bir özel tim. Siz de bu ekip'te yer alan özel silahlar ile
donatılmış bir askersiniz. Ama ne adınız ne de geçmişiniz bilinmiyor.
